Founded in the late 1980’s and still privately owned by the Brixton family
Whilst MASTEC’s core values are built around service, professionalism, sustainability and quality, MASTEC takes very seriously our responsibility to the communities in which we operate. As a good corporate citizen MASTEC is committed to maintaining a reputation for fair dealings and integrity. Our company policies and corporate values reflect our attitudes towards respect in the workplace, and within the broader community.
At MASTEC the safety and well-being of our team members is our highest priority. It’s something we continually work to improve. Our manufacturing and distribution activities operate under strict and documented Safe Work Method Statements, Policies and Procedures.
Our teams either internal or external must complete the appropriate safety training and induction packages before they commence work. Our production staff and project management and logistics teams are led by experienced professionals who take responsibility for the compliance of safety standards across our organisation.
We value and recognise the contribution of each and every employee. We have established systems and processes that encourage and facilitate professional development, goal setting and training. We are continuously improving our systems and processes in order to create a vibrant, motivated and productive team.
Whilst we are headquartered in South Australia we are mindful that we have a national footprint and, by the very nature of our business activity, interact with local grassroots communities across Australia. As such we have a commitment to putting back into the community the support they show our business.
Over the past few years, the owners of MASTEC have donated to various causes throughout Australia including the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal, a number of disadvantaged youth organisations and homelessness charities. Where we can, we focus our community support efforts on:
MASTEC has a proud history of introducing sustainable manufacturing practices through the usage of recycled plastic content in our products. We have long-standing relationships with suppliers across Australia who have developed recycled polymers suitable for reuse in our injection moulding processes.
We are committed to supporting local sustainable manufacturing and initiatives in support of CIRCULAR ECONOMIES, as well as meaningful programs that improve the overall impact of our manufacturing journey.
