Founded in the late 1980’s and still privately owned by the Brixton family, the design and construction of MASTEC’s mobile waste and recycling containers have evolved progressively to specifically withstand the rigorous demands of Australian waste management practices not usually experienced in the European market.
Since inception, Managing Director Michael Brixton, and other family members and staff have overseen the day-to-day operations of MASTEC which now employs over 70 staff, operating a purpose-built injection moulding manufacturing facility on a 12,000m2 site with annual outputs in excess of 1,000,000 MGBs.
Unlike its competitors MASTEC is not a general moulder of many different products unrelated to the waste and recycling industry – quite the opposite – MASTEC is a specialist manufacturer of mobile waste and recycling containers.
MASTECs Australian manufacturing facility is the largest and only facility in Australia solely dedicated to manufacturing the full range of 2 wheeled and 4 wheeled mobile garbage bins, independently certified to meet the rigourous performance requirements of the Australian Standard for Mobile waste containers AS4123-2008 re-enforcing MASTEC’s position as Australia’s preferred supplier for MGB’s.
